The Basic shoe by Duplo is a product that combines our high quality standards with an optimized price. The Duplo Basic Clipped and Profiled is made from the same materials as our other models because we do not compromise in matters of quality.

We only do without

• grinding the quarter clips

• zinc-coating the quarter clips and the metal inlay

• knob arrays

The Extra line of density it is a slightly harder material which is more immune to heat and remains abrasion-resistant even during higher temperature compared to the Standard line. The USA currently only carries the Extra line in the Basic model.

Choosing your density — Standard or Extra?

Duplo models are available in two densities or hardness of synthetic material. Choosing your density depends on not only your horses’ individual preference, but also the temperature.

The Standard (orange knob inlays) is relatively soft synthetic material which stays flexible during the cold season and keeps its shock-absorbing characteristics.

The Extra (green knob inlays) is a slightly harder material which is more immune to heat and remains abrasion-resistant even during higher temperature.

Threaded models available as Clipped with Threaded Inserts. This has the inserts to add 4 and 6 mm traction studs. Threaded models are available in standard density only.
